JuneZach Comments:
I am a fan of Burton’s works and Depp’s acting prowess. These two people can really make odd things too wonderful. There may be a deviation from the original classic story which others may perceive as something not good. However, it is satisfying to watch the film. The characters are well acted especially by Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. I have never seen such a great actor as Depp being so versatile. He is the only Hollywood actor who has the knack to portray weird roles such as Jack Sparrow (for Pirates of the Carribbean), Hunter S. Thompson (for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Edward Scissorhands to name a few. Carter on the other hand is a show stealer in the movie every time she screams “Off with his head!”. (Hahaha!) I also like her very much as Bellatrix in the Harry Potter film series. Anne Hathaway builds up the cast as the White Queen who sworn to herself not to harm anyone in Wonderland. As for Mia Wasikowska acting as the ‘Alice’, she actually has the talent. Amazing art direction, great production and eye-popping visuals especially viewed in 3D (which gladly I had), Burton will really bring you to the world of Wonderland!
