The Social Network won Best Drama at 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards

January 20, 2011, Posted by junezach at 12:14 pm

It is one of the most celebrated movies in 2010 being adapted from the real life story of how Facebook came to be. The Social Network garnered four awards namely Best Motion Picture-Drama, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Original Score. It bested my 2010 favorite, Inception. In most cases (but not entirely all), award giving bodies tend not to honor sci-fi films to be “best” movies.

As the Oscars race is on its trail, who will take home the bacon? :)

I’m sure you have your own bets and so do I.  Natalie Portman winning best actress this year is something I am looking forward to. As the winner for this year’s Golden Globes, she is one step higher to claim the little statue.
